Size & Dimensions
Available sizes vary by selected option. Please check the selected width and length before placing your order.
It helps suppress weed growth by covering the soil and limiting sunlight. However, weeds may still appear around planting openings, uncovered edges or in soil and mulch placed on top of the fabric.
Does water pass through the fabric?
Yes. The non-woven material allows rain and irrigation water to pass through to the soil below. Water may pass more slowly if the fabric is folded, covered with compacted soil or installed on uneven ground.
Does this fabric have pre-cut planting holes?
No. This is an unperforated roll that can be cut according to your preferred plant spacing and garden layout.
Which side of the fabric should face upward?
If one side looks smoother and more even, place that side upward. If both sides appear similar, either side can generally face the soil as long as the fabric is laid flat and secured properly.
How much should two pieces overlap?
Overlap adjoining sections by approximately 10–15 cm and secure the joined area with garden stakes to reduce gaps where weeds may grow through.
Can it be used in raised beds and vegetable gardens?
Yes. It can be cut to fit raised beds, vegetable rows, strawberry beds, flower beds and greenhouse planting areas. Check the recommended spacing for each crop before cutting the planting openings.
Can mulch, bark or gravel be placed over the fabric?
Yes. Mulch or bark can help improve appearance and protect the fabric from direct sunlight. Gravel may also be used in suitable landscaped areas, but sharp stones should not be dragged across the surface.
